Progress is truckin’ along
Last week we got the show on the road when the Revilla Station farm truck arrived in Ketchikan.
(Okay, no more puns.)
On September 8, we drove the truck from from Portland, Oregon, to Bellingham, Washington, where it boarded the M/V Matanuska and sailed 36 hours up the Inside Passage of British Columbia, landing in Alaska on September 10.
The truck made this trip so that your produce won’t have to.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be working with civil engineers to layout the Revilla Station site and complete zoning requirements. We’ll also be meeting with local stakeholders to discuss distribution, employment, and other sorts of partnership. We’ll be planting our first seeds before we know it!
